Whether you’re cultivating your first raised bed, training for your next adventure, or simply seeking inspiration to live more intentionally, The Acre Outpost is here to help you grow—on your land and in your life.
Hiking Adventures
My son and I have hiked Mountains in North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. I wear a 25 lb vest 75% of the time. This helps with leg strength and building the muscles we use everyday. 25% of the time the trails are just too hard. I pack extra in the backpack for those adventures.

Camelback Mountain – Arizona
During a visit to Gilbert, Arizona, the locals suggested hiking Camelback Mountain at 5-6 AM. Due to the extreme heat during, September, that time of year. I would suggest following that exact plan.
